Our Story

Lucky for you, it’s Luminology.
You know that feeling you get when you wrap yourself in a warm, toasty white towel and smell the freshly-laundered fibers? We do, too. It’s a good feeling, yes? Lucky for you, it’s Luminology.

Created from the purest, innermost beings of the earth, Luminology soy candles are hand-crafted treasures that are as artisan as they are lovely. It’s true; we made them that way. On purpose.

Why Luminology Soy CandlesBecause we like you.
I have a feeling we’re going to get along very well. We want to make life simple for you, which is why our 6-ounce candles burn for approximately 24 hours, non-stop. In candle-speak, that’s like, forever. And when your all-natural wooden wick burns out? We’ll refill it for you in our studio. Because that’s what friends are for.

Because we like presents.
We know shopping is hard and girls can be picky. That’s why we chose over fifteen shades of gorgeous colors for the interior glaze in our heirloom pots. You can gift the “terra” hue to your favorite redhead, or bring home the “sea salt” shade for yourself (it will look smashing on that teak coffee table you’ve had your eye on). Even better? Each color comes with a high-quality scented candle infused with essential oils. And if you’re allergic to everything, we also an offer unscented option. Because again, we are so, so nice.

Because we like our world.*
When you finish the sensual experience that is your favorite Luminology soy candle, don’t worry. Your glazed pot won’t end up in the landfill (unless you put it there, of course). Instead, the candle’s vessel can be re-purposed into dinnerware or your new favorite serving piece. We like to eat Cheerios out of ours, because cereal makes the world go round.

You love us now, don’t you? Good. Because we love you back.

*Luminology’s wax is 100% renewable, sustainable soy sourced from soybean farmers in the USA. Each vessel is crafted locally by porcelain artisans in a waste-free studio, and our high-quality fragrances are phthalate-free. Total that up and you’ve got one very green, very awesome operation.
