I love love love my candles!! I am using them in my studio and in the house and everything smells so cozy and happy. I love the flickering wick, the sound is so relaxing. My daughter and I love the fruity scent of the Orchard candle which we ordered together online. We like to light it at night when we are studying together at our dining room table. The colors of the wax within the candle and the surrounding pot are very soothing to the eye and the wick in the center has a very earthy look and is a nice contrast. We love our candle. We visited Luminology during last Friday’s festivities and it really stood out from the other studios/venders. There’s something about candlelight that is so soothing and mesmerizing. It wasn’t candlelight alone though. The wicks were square! We were fascinated. And the scents! We took a whiff of every one and debated their complexities and which were our favorites. The handmade bowl container fit the handmadeness of the candle and wick as well. Even the round box it came in was treasurable. We ordered a candle for our daughter who teaches art at the high school in Mequon, Wisconsin, and will give it to her for Christmas. Her favorite scent was “orchard”. In the studio “orchard” was in a totally off-white bowl. We were able to order that scent to fill a bowl in our daughter’s favorite light blue color. When we picked it up, we could smell “orchard” immediately and that alone gave us a thrill. We love the attention to detail and individuality and hope it will stay that way. It’s very hard to avoid mass production because that keeps costs down and possibly profits up, but then a certain attractive unique essence disappears at the same time. Hedy H., Bettendorf, IA
